[Ongoing] I am a part of the Grief to Action Initiative at the Center for Analytical Approaches to Social Innovation at the University of Pittsburgh. Working with a team of mostly volunteers, I helped design and implement a platform to connect local Black-owned businesses to the Pittsburgh university student community.

I presented on this work at the inaugural ACM conference on Equity and Access in Algorithms, Mechanisms, and Optimization (EAAMO ’21). The recording is available here. Our paper, Project 412Connect: Bridging Students and Communities, was awarded the New Horizons Award.

[Ongoing] I am auditing automated speech recognition systems on international accents with Neal Patwari, Professor of Electrical & Systems Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis.

[Ongoing] I am evaluating a critical-time intervention for housing insecure young adult heads of household with program coordinators and Patrick Fowler, Associate Professor at the Brown School at Washington University in St. Louis.
