Grief to Action (G2A), is an incubator for student-driven, community-co-created
data science for social justice (“DS4SJ”) projects.

This project proposes a novel infrastructure to deepen Pitt’s impact in DS4SJ, improving connections across units and providing workplace-relevant student training in multidisciplinary teamwork.

This GSPIA class is designed to equip students passionate about social justice issues to work with public interest technologies and civic data.

CAASI has conducted several research projects that explore social issues in the Pittsburgh area through Data Science.
